For a long time, I kept seeing the same thing happen.
Brands were asking for more content. More videos. A website refresh. A new campaign. A new logo. A louder presence. A faster answer.
And maybe some of those things were needed.
But over and over again, I could see something deeper underneath the request.
The story was fragmented.
The purpose language was unclear.
The leadership team was saying one thing.
The marketing was saying another.
The audience was hearing something else entirely.
And then everyone wondered why the work was not working.
I would read stories about failed campaigns, expensive redesigns, business loss, people losing jobs, and brands trying to fix deep alignment problems with surface-level solutions. I felt like the person in the movie theater yelling at the screen, “Don’t go in the basement!”
Because after more than 25 years in creative work, storytelling, photography, filmmaking, leadership, and brand building, I knew there was another way in.
I wanted to say, “I know how to help you get your mojo back.”
Not by making more for the sake of more.
Not by chasing superficial influence.
Not by pretending a shiny deliverable can solve a fractured story.
But by slowing down enough to ask the better questions first.
What are you really trying to say?
Who needs to hear it?
Where is the story clear?
Where is it fragmented?
Does your team actually sound unified?
Do your visuals, words, people, and customer experience all point to the same truth?
That is where EGG! begins.
EGG! had to exist because I believe the creative industry has, in some ways, turned its back on experience, seasoned storytellers, genuine connection, and the kind of deep listening that actually changes the work.
Too often, the professional creative relationship has been reduced to order-taking.
“The customer is always right.”
I have never fully believed that.
The customer is worth listening to.
The customer is worth respecting.
The customer is worth advocating for.
But if someone comes to us asking for a video, and the real need is clarity, our job is not to quietly take the order and make the video.
Our job is to advocate for the story.
Our job is to advocate for the human beings on the other side of the work — the team trying to explain itself, the audience trying to understand, the customer trying to connect, and the people whose jobs, dreams, and futures may be affected by whether the message lands.
That is not arrogance.
That is care.
One of the things that shaped this belief most deeply was working around multimillion-dollar film and television productions.
There is nothing like watching a small village of highly focused, talented people come together around one agreed goal.
Sets being built.
Lights being rigged.
Wardrobe moving.
Cameras preparing.
People solving problems in real time.
Then, over a walkie, someone says:
“Quiet on set.”
And everything stops.
Instantly.
The whole machine goes silent because everyone understands the moment. Everyone understands the purpose. Everyone understands what the work needs right now.
Then someone calls “Cut!” and the beautiful chaos begins again.
That changed me.
I started looking for that kind of unity everywhere.
In teams.
In brands.
In campaigns.
In creative partnerships.
In leadership.
And I kept coming back to the same question:
Why?
Why are we making this?
Why does it matter?
Why should anyone care?
Why does this team exist?
Why does this story need to be told now?
EGG! was built from that place.
We are a Narrative Branding Studio, which is our way of saying we do not fit neatly into the usual boxes.
Part creative agency.
Part film production company.
Part strategic partner.
But really, all story.
We help brands, founders, leaders, and organizations uncover the story underneath the work, create unity around that story, and then build the creative response from there.
Sometimes that becomes film.
Sometimes photography.
Sometimes design, writing, strategy, campaigns, or all of it working together.
But story comes first.
What I want people to feel when they meet EGG! is simple:
Seen.
Heard.
At ease.
Like they have found a steady creative partner who will advocate for their positive growth without taking over their voice.
Because it is not our “why” we are hired to push into the world.
It is theirs.
Our job is to help find it, protect it, shape it, and give it the right creative life.
That is why EGG! had to exist.
Because the world does not need more content for the sake of content.
It needs clearer stories.
More unified teams.
Better questions.
Stronger relationships.
Beautiful work that actually works.
Story first.
People always.
Work that works.
We are EGG!
